What the site is

My Baby ETA is a small set of calculators for questions that come up during pregnancy and early childhood: when labor is likely to begin, how a due date and pregnancy week are worked out, when a child is likely to outgrow a clothing size or car seat, and how tall a child may be as an adult. Each calculator is built from published research and shows its formulas and sources on the same page as the result.

The site is independently owned and operated under the My Baby ETA name. It has no hospital, clinic, or manufacturer affiliation. Some pages list products with affiliate links, which are marked where they appear and do not change which items are listed or how any calculator works.

Who it is for

The calculators are for people who want to see the reasoning behind a result. Each one reports the range around an estimate, the method used to produce it, and a statement of what the method does not cover.

How the calculators are built

Every model on the site starts from a specific published source, and the coefficient or rule taken from that source is recorded with the paper's identifier. Where a figure has to be adapted for a consumer questionnaire, the adaptation is deliberately smaller than the published estimate. The methodology page lists each model, its sources, and the places where a value is a calibration choice rather than a reported result.

Three rules apply across the site:

How content is reviewed

Calculator copy and articles are written by the site's maintainers and checked against the evidence registers before publication. Each page carries a "last reviewed" date. Source registers are re-read at least once a year and sooner when a professional guideline that a calculator relies on changes. Corrections sent through the contact page are checked against the cited source and, when they hold up, applied with a note in the page's revision history.

What the site does not do

Nothing here establishes or changes a clinical due date, diagnoses a condition, or replaces a conversation with the person providing your care. The disclaimer sets this out in full.

Privacy

Calculator entries stay in your browser unless you choose to save them, and analytics never receives dates, answers, or results. The privacy and health-data policy describes what is stored and for how long.
